Rugby World Cup LIVE: Star banned after officiating uproar as England adopt unusual method | Rugby | Sport

Former England star James Haskell believes Scotland could pull off a “potential upset” in Ireland’s Pool B, while he backs South Africa as deserved favourites to go all the way.
He said: “Ireland’s top world ranking can bring both added pressure and benefits to their World Cup campaign. The return of Johnny Sexton from injury is a key factor to watch, but overcoming their history of quarter-final exits will be challenging.
“Their group is tough, with Scotland posing a potential upset. However, Ireland, under coach Andy Farrell, has the talent and potential to succeed in the tournament despite these challenges.”
He added: “I believe that South Africa is currently the favourite. They have a reputation for being a ruthlessly competitive team, and their past successes, with three World Cup victories, certainly give them an advantage.”
